Replica of an original 1870s Great South Bay workboat, possibly a ‘buy boat’, a swift sailboat designed to truck oysters from oysterboat to shore to catch the market. Lines taken from the original in the East Hampton Marine Museum. Built in 1997 at Lance Lee’s Apprenticeshop in Rockland, Maine, one of the earliest revivals of Gil Smith’s designs.

Maintained and stored indoors at Wooden Boatworks. She sails today in East Hampton, NY.
